About Aleah
Aleah Romer (she/her) is a queer, neurodivergent author living and working in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest. By day, Aleah works in the Sponsored Projects Administration of Portland State University, where she supports the folks making important discoveries about our world.
When not working, Aleah writes stories. Her writing interests include historical fiction, speculative fiction, and the occasional dip into horror.
Aleah earned her bachelor’s degree (2014) at Portland State University, where she majored in History and minored in Judaic Studies. She went on to earn her MFA (2024) in Creative Writing from the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University.
